Love tonyrefail co-op. Slightly more expensive but great customer service. And their monthly meal deal is a bargain .
Nobody on tills, had to use self serve with a load of shopping. Took ages !!! While 2 members of staff continuously chatted to each other at customer service. Disgusting behaviour and I wasn't the only customer unhappy
Renovated the place and it's nice they even got self service tills..overall nice for a quick shop also do top up of electric and heating.
Plenty of parking space. Despite being one of the smaller Co-ops, stocks an excellent choice of products,with polite and helpful staff. Well worth a visit.
Self service tills are to small to place more than 5 items on and when they call for assistance, nobody comes to help even with the machine shouting loud and clear, I waited so long for assistance to come I took all my shopping back to the human till and by the time I had been served and packed my shopping, assistance still hadn't turned up at the self service tills. The prices are a lot higher than other supermarkets. I didn't give it a 1 star review because the lady on the till was helpful and apologetic, explaining about the shortage of staff and how unhelpful some of the staff are.
